It can also produce income reports, student and tutor history reports, print receipts and generate invoices. Centre Manager provides a comprehensive room booking system with inbuilt customer invoice generation.

Centre Manager is easy to use for volunteers, receptionists and tutors. The database is protected with a structured system of access privileges and rigorous integrity checking.

The Bottom-up method of organisational management

An unfortunate and often unintentional by‑product of many Top-down organisations is a breakdown in connectivity between management at the top and individuals at the bottom.

Individuals at the workface of a top-down organisation often feel unappreciated and removed from the decision making processes.

Top-down organisations can appear to be dictatorial and repressive to those at the bottom.

By virtue of its nature, the Bottom‑up approach builds connectivity from the lowest layer of an organisation, through the intermediate layers, ending at the top.

While following a pre-defined overall plan, Bottom‑up engineers establish stepwise inter-layer connectivity before moving up to the next layer.

Managers can confidently devolve responsibility downwards into a Bottom‑up built matrix using software tools designed to follow inter-connecting pathways and to deliver up‑to‑date status at any level.

Those at the lower levels are empowered by newly granted responsibilities, and work more effectively as team members, with a clear view (using Bottom‑up software tools) of the activity status of other layers. The isolation barrier is removed.
